Dear all,

I want to pursue my carrier in Switching. Please suggest me what basics knowledge i need to hav. Presently i am working in Telecom but dont have that much exposure in Switch. And also suggest the software languages and operating systems i need to know.

hi santy , i have worked in ewsd 2 years, for persuing a career in switching you must have basic knowledge of switching(space and time), signalling(CAS & SS7) and also the traffic parameters(ERLANG),
i would suggest u to read TELECOM SWITCHING SYSTEMS AND SERVICES by T .Vishwanathan at the beggning,
