We are dealing with five & three finger.
But theoritically & with lab expermnt you can got more than ten.
More finger = More reliability = Less fading = complex DSP equip = Higher & Higher expensive.

    Hi,

I am asking because new versions support 4 cells in the active set.
Doesn’t this means that you need at least 4 fingers on the UE?
OK – Number of fingers is a tradeoff between price and reliability, but somewhere should be minimum requirements for this.

Three is quite good & very common.
Cuz RXlev gained from 3 strong tap in power delay profile is quite enough to mitigate the multi path effect.
