    Hi,
    You’ll have to grasp a little bit about the SS7 signalling system. Then you can go to the site
    http://www.etsi.org and download the document “GSM 04.08 Mobile Radio Interface Layer 3 Specification”. HEre youll find all the layer 3 signalling that takes place between the mobile and the network.I am afraid you’ll have to open a user account here.

    You need not open the account, Just go through the site http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/html-info/24008.htm

    It’s a 3GPP site belongs to etsi .
