    Hi
As i know ,as you get difference between them the better the estimated signal => (un correletion function).
the difference depends on the type of diversity, & the propagation environment.
#what alarm you see, in what vendor??

    hi
Naturally they always have diff level, Cuz of diff propagation plane (space or polarization).
I don’t have experience on nokia.
BUT it may related to the antenna damage OR HW problem (may your duplexer or splitter is not ok) or it relate to sw.
But frankly I didn’t meet this alarm yet.

    This exist on

    CITYTALK

when you make a TRX loop test. Choose both separetly.

    you have 2 results:
    rx path 1= a
    rx path 2= b

normally a=b, the alarm appear if a is different b, the difference is more over 4.

    ULTRA SITE

in the menu, you have comparaison RSSI value.

You can see the diffrence with a number.

In all that case, the problem can be from antenna, feeder, TRX, câble, …

I have seen this alarm many times i Orange GSM network i Switzerland. It was always the MHA (Masthead Preamplifier) which caused the problem.

I don’t know if it is db or dbm but in NED it is explain.

I forgot but it must be a internal TRX failure.

With this problem you can have: silence call, cut call, … Bad quality.
