    Hi,

    AFE=Antenna filter extendsion

    WBC is just a stand alone combiner for combining 2TRXs.

    AFE is a unit that consists on Combiners,Duplexers,Splitter,LNA.

    AFE is for Nokia talk family,

    Whereas WBC is for ultrasite.

    Yes,

    Duplexers is needed for both the equipment as it consists of the TX and RX path.

    Hi,

    Is there a restriction on the type of Nokia Combiner (i.e. RTC, AFE, WBC) for BB or RF hopping?
    Thanks.

    AFE has a filtering role, WBC (ie WCGA) is purely a combiner

    WBC + DVxx = AFE

    you have only 2Tx on copler DVxx, if you want more 2 TRX you must insert WBC.

    For the puissance:

    use TX on AFE= Pmax
    use TX1 and TX2= you lose 3db

    Use TX on DVxx= Pmax
    use WBC + DVxx= You lose 3db
