Inter PLMN HandOvers

    Is the Inter PLMN HandOver possible ??
    If Yes then How ?? If No then why not ??

    it just roaming.on account of no common management or resourse(I think so).

    In GSM it isn’t possible to make a call with Inter PLMN handover. One of the reasons is that you must select the new service provider. Thera are other reasons too.

    Yes it is possible. In the Visiting MSC the external lac along with the MCC and MNC is defined. Also u have to define the MAPMSC and MAPVLR for the MSCs between which u want to perform the handover. It is possible. SIEMENS is supportinmg this feature from sr11

    Since the BCCH is widely used in the GSM system, how does its performance affect handover?

    Because it is widely used in GSM, it affects performance of GSM.

    Like engines.

    They are widely used in cars, and they do indeed affect performances.

    Or salt.

    Used on fries.
    Make them taste better. The taste of a frie. That is probably the only way you can measure the performance of a frie.

    My car doesn’t really go faster than a frie though, and it has less salt on it.
