I am referring to transmission capacity planner which involves SDH, SONET, DS1, OC3, ATM, PSTN, LD and IMT. Thanks and may you give me some info on what specific activities they do as transmission capacity planner.

Unfortunately i cannot be of much help about the transmission. My area is network optimisation. I am familiar with traffic planning isues but this is not your case. I hope someone with knowledge about this will help you
