    Hi Aadil,

Apologies for delay, was out for conference.

Well, it looks like a normal freq or hardware problem. Ideally its best to check the h/w.

If you have an access to BSSND, take out report 208 with all the default values for a particular BTS where you have those sudden change problems.

The diff between ul&dl should not be high.

    Let me know the report

    Best regards,

    Garry !!

    Hi Rajesh,

Your cell parameters are designed considering your link budget calculations. In link budget we make appropriate changes so that losses in ul & dl are same and the difference (pathloss) is zero (for MS perception).

If you have pathloss which is either +ve or -ve (higher values, depending on the site locations) then you have path imbalance which causes problems in the link making it unstable.

Though there are some exceptions for living with high PB values.

I hope it answers your query though in a nutshell.

    Best regards,

    Garry !!

it means the uplink path and the downlink path are balanced, accordingly to their respective Rx, Tx and losses… it is linked to the concept of link budget.
