SMS and announcements

    Hi,

    I would like to get the details of the SMS call flow from MS–> MSC–>SMSC.

    Anyone having the idea of Announcements, announcements are played for call waiting,call holding are through the traffic channels between the MSC and BSC?

    if u guys have any idea pls let me know.

    for SMS call flow maybe you can see with MAP and A-Interface trace trace, there is u can see SMS call flow from MS-BTS-BSC-MSC-SMSC.
    About Announcement I think like that but not just from MSC and BSC maybe to for MSC-PSTN (depend on where calling place), but what you mean traffic channel for signalin or for voice?
