Hi all
Kindely I need to know about the adding & removing the neighbouring cell relation, how to perform it & what is effect on the serving cell (HO type ,cell reselection).
also what the BA list.???
please reply or any related document .

pary, which vendor equimpent you have? neighbouring cell relation defined on BSC, so differen BSC has different commands to add/remove neighbour cell…
BA list is a list of 6 strongest neighbour cells which MS is listening and sending measurement reports to BSC, to allow BSC make handover decision.

according to the relation performance it is obvious that ADD RELATION is for further congestion relief in serving cell and to optimise the traffic fairly.
BUT ?? the REMOVING RELATION stand for what??
for what reasons….( LA redimenssioning, ….and what??)
PLZ I need more litreture on its benfit & reasons ??.
My vendor is Alcatel & Ericsson.
