BSIC decoding

    Hi,
    I need info regarding BSIC decoding.How it is affecting Handovers.

    BSIC is composed of NCC + BCC. Both are numbered from 0-7 so you have 64 codes now.NCC is the network color code given to opearator and BCC is the base station color code which is also 0-7 and defined by RF planner of your network.
    For handovers check neighbors in the source cell having same BCCH with same BSIC (CO-BCCH).

    Hi,
    Interfence of two neighbours, cell might affect source cell from handing over as it is unable to decode the BSIC oft the target cell.
