Power up of Nokia Ultrasite

    Hi,

    Can someone please tell me how i can power up a Nokia ultra site outdoor using 230VAC?

    Ultrasite can be powered either DC or AC. You have to use ultrasite power supply modules that is intended for AC source.

    PWSX modules for powering up the modules in BTS.These modules can be PWSA,PWSB etc.

    For powering the BTS from AC source a rectifier can be used which converts AC into -48VDC.

    In my network(using BSSNokia)after swaping BSSMotorola, the coverage is reduce after swap…
    Is true power output in Nokia is smaller?

    Sounds like you need a TMA. depending on what coupler you are using.

    Yes, It is true that Nokia pwr_o/p is lower than Motorola pwr_o/p. But depends what band your network operates into.

    Ultrasite 1800:

    output power antenna connector= 44dbm.

    coupler 2 ways= 40dbm
    coupler 4 ways= 36dbm

    Sensibility without diversity 111dbm.
