Hi All,

I am working for intallation for RBS2206. Configuration is 4+4+4. But we are using 2 E1’s only!! As a single E1 has 2mb/s (in 32 time slots)bandwidth. 4+4+4 configuration means 96 time slots. How this information is multiplexed on only 2 E1s only? Logically shouldnt 3 E1’s (32 * 3 =96 timeslots)? Please clearify in detail..

Hi weber,
4+4+4 is enough using 1 E1 only. a single E1 is divided into 32 time slot. one TRX is using 2 up to 3 time slot.

I have just now into the BTS installation work…like to know basics of BTS installation …with digrammatic explanation of it!!!!
