Does anyone have or know where to get System X information.
I have lots of other Telco books to exchange.

Apologise for the very late answer.
Worked with GPT’s System-X back in 1980/1990s. Worked with DSS, DSSS, PUS / POPUS, CAS, MTS, OMS, etc..

System-X is now consigned to Switch history.

Just an add on to System-X.

Look at Telent. They now look at the leftovers of the System-X estate in terms of development for customers that still have System-X equipmemt.

Just an add on to this thread.

I remember working with a lot of Resource Management documentation that helped with MML – Man Machine Language – commands.

I remember working with the following systems (and subsystems):

    PUS – Processor
    DSS – Switch
    DSSS – Concentrator
    SIS – Signalling Interworking
    MCS – Maintenance Control system
    CPS – Call processing subsystem
    CAS – Call Accounting
    NSS – Network Synch.

Code used was (BT)Coral66. DCD was used with the data. Numerous BA / BB / etc.. “cards” were used with the DCD.
