Busy Retries

    What is the general rule of thumb in estimating the percent of calls offered that are retries? What is an “acceptable” percent of calls to block? I assume these numbers would vary by industry. I am working in a customer service call center for a sales organization.

    It depends on the time of day and the type of numbers called.

    Are you dialling on Home or Business numbers?

    What are your retry parameters set to? EG – Try twice every 10mins or abandon on call?

    Are you using a predictive dialler or power dialler system?
