Hello fellow telecom folks. Can someone share a list with me on the major differences in TCAP versions between ANSI & ITU?

    Thanks,

    ANSI supports following trasaction primitives:

    QueryWithPermission,
    QuesryWithOutPermission,
    ContinueWithPermission,
    ContinueWithOutPermission and
    Release,
where as in ITU_T we have.

    Begin,
    Continue and
    End
    respectively.

When it comes to component portion of TCAP,
    in ANSI we have:
    invokeID,
    cor-relationID,
    operationTAG (NATIONAL….etc),
    OperationType,
    Operation Specifier and
    ParameterType

    in ITU_T we have:
    invokeID,
    linked_ID,
    operationTag,
    operationlength and
    operationvalue

ANSI supports INVOKE_L and INVOKE_NL where as ITU_T supports only INVOKE.

    -Hope this helps………..
