    hello,
    Iam new to the telecom field.I wold like to know abt the coneectivity between the SCP(IN) and the HLR. For this call i heard that SSN from the SCP should send the 6 if anybody know abt this plz explain me.

    Hi,

    The connectivity between SCP (IN) and the HLR is MAP. Your SCP can not have an SSN of 6. Because as per standerds it stats that all HLR – 6
    VLR – 7
    MSC – 8.

    If you use SSN as 6 for the SCP it voiates the standerds.

    Hi there yeah Kiran is absolutely right as 6 is of HLR. SCP should be 14.

    Hi SCP should sen the messages to SSN=6 which means the signalling between SCP and HLR
