Hi anyone familiar with WCDMA? I need to know that since the reuse factor is 1, will there still be any adjacent interference occuring?

In DL direction is solved that signal is multiplied by scrambling code that code is unique for Node B. In UL each mobile gets at the beginnig of communication unique scrambling code assigned by RNC.

    Some questions:
    1) for wdma, is uplink more constraint than downlink?
    2) for pilot, power is 30dbm, but for TCH, power is 43dbm (dependent on eqpt), true?

yes i agree with you because uplink power of handheld mobile normaly maxpwr 2 watts, while downlink transcievers can deliver 47dBm.

    Hi Palani,

In 3G system, Pilot power is not only 30dbm. It is depend on your networks configuration (This is urban area for example)
With my networks, it is still 43dbm.
