Hey All,

Just a simple doubt, I think more related to ISUP than GSM. Lets say a mobile subscriber A has unconditional call forwarding. He has forwarded his number to a PSTN number(lets call it B).

If someone (lets say X) calls B, then the PLMN will send an IAM to the PSTN n/w. I wanted to know will B’s number go in the IAM message as a redirecting number. And if that it is a mandatory information element in IAM for forwarding calls.

Also if someone could give a pointer to some website where I could get ITU-T Q.763 doc, it would be helpful(for free that is:-))

B Number will be sent in IAM as “ORIGINALLY CALLED NUMBER”.

Is the OCN a mandatory IE of IAM? Also any pointers to the specs?

OCN is not a mandatory field.
