The number of lines specified in the Erlang B calculator with respect to GSM channels – what does it really mean ? Using the Erlang B calculator to determine the Erlangs of traffic – u need to supply the percentage of blocking and the number of lines.
Suppose I have 15 (200)KHZ GSM CHANNELS AT A cell site – what this means in terms of lines ?? IS it 15 lines or is it 15*8 lines?

It means 15 lines, cause the 15*8 is 15 TRX & the total lines = 120 line!!

Consider..as 120 Physical Channels used for Signalling and UserData ( Eg Voice,FAX..).
