there are 3 gprs territories:
dedicated/static: dedicated to gprs and cannot be taken by voice.
default : u can say it to be dynamic since this territory can be taken by voice if the need be
max gprs territory: this is the dynamic territory which is usually 100% …means all the TCHs on the GPRS enabled TRXs can be used for gprs upgrades if there is no voice.
this is the concept. U can co-relate it with any vendor ..terms/jargon may be different.
Yes- it is recommended to define the dedicated/static time slots in continuous sequence say 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
