– sampling (Kotelnikov and Nyquist do it together);
– quantization of discrete samples (getting of “1” and “0” sequence);
– coding of source (Shannon does it or any other) for redundabcy removal;
– cryptographic coding for security;
– channel coding for channel error detection and correction.
