path bal = (rx ul – tx ul) – (rx dl – tx dl)
so they need to choose a certain output power for the BTS. for the ms power (ul tx), it should be fixed to 33dBm.
a positive path balance means that the cell range is limited by the downlink path : the ms is not sensitive enough, or the bts doesn’t emit strong enough.
