but the power consumed by the mobile is still the same… it’s just that with the same power, the ul coverage goes a bit further than in dl.
the power control works in step of 2dB, so few .1’s of dB will not make a big difference.
Ok, actually, i do agree with you. It’s smarter and logical to put the UL in smaller frequencies. What i’m saying is that it doesn’t bring any practical advantage, on the field.
