You must connect directly to the unit using a serial cable from your PC. Set hyperterminal to 38400, none, 8 , 1 and no flow control. Reboot the unit and go through the boot up menu (“hit enter within 3 seconds…”). The last question is “do you want to perform a factory reset?”. If you hit ‘y’, then the password will be reset to nothing, BUT, the entire configuration will be lost as well.
