This is an interesting group, very informative, I wish to share my experience with Tech support project in India.
I was part of a pilot project doind hardware tech support.
We started with 25 and gew as much as 2 thousand 5 hundred in 2 years.
My learning experience prompts me to say THAT WHEN THE AGENT IS HAPPY THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS TAKEN CARE OF AUTOMATICALLY.
Indian callcenters miss that point completly as there is abudance of staff available.

May I ask why you chose Pondicherry.
This is a good idea if you are looking for French speaking people.
English speaking staff is most happening in Bombay.
Anyway thats still a personal opinion.
