ExtErlBBlocking()

This function estimates what blocking will be experienced with a given busy hour traffic figure and number of lines.

Format

=ExtErlBBlocking (Traffic,Lines,Recall)

Result

A real number between 0 and 1, where 0 means no blocking and 1 means full blocking.

Arguments

Example

To estimate how the blocking experienced when 1500 Erlangs of traffic is offered to 1000 lines, assuming that 20% of blocked calls are immediately retried, enter:

=ExtErlBBlocking(1500,1000,20)

The answer should be 0.386
