This calculator allows you to compare the bandwidth requirements of three different voice compression schemes (CODECs).  The entry value for the calculator is the number of lines required.  The calculator has three outputs, showing the IP bandwidth required using G.723.1 at 5.3kbps, G.723.1 at 6.4kbps and G.729B.
