This box appears when you add a new node to a network drawing.

 

 

The following sections need to be completed:

 

Node name

 

Enter a name for the new node.  The name does not need to be unique within the project, although the results will be easier to interpret if duplication of names is avoided.

 

Traffic levels

 

Select an option which best describes the traffic generated by and destined for this new network location.  Options are: no traffic, low traffic, medium traffic and high traffic.  The actual traffic levels relating to these options can be set on a per project basis using the Project Properties Dialogue Box.

 

The inter-nodal traffic figures can be altered after all the nodes have been added.
