i put my SDCCH & TCH on time slot properly.where in one time slot One SDCCH and & 7 TCH.
Some site i hv 2/2/2 confg, some 4/4/3 confg.
So..how its happend SDCCH drop rate high. |

I have been faceing this prob for a long time.
Though i chk my BSC data base all SDCCH and TRX are fixed properly.yet why ? |

ababil,
your problem is about location update failures... now you're talking about tRX upgrade ? I don't understand.
If you want to fix a problem, the first step is to understand the problem. And you do this with investigation: in your case : traces.
The other solution is to check with Siemens engineers if they already faced this problem in another network. Perhaps they already have the experience? |

In my project we don't do drivetest for TRX upgrade so it's hard to analyze or do Air traces or A interface traces.
Is there any other solution to fix this problem??
I would appreciate anykind of information.

pb = problem
what i would do is a drivetest or an A interface trace, in order to understand what is actually the problem.
I could assume that the MS sends the LU request to the MSC, but why is there a failure?
LU Request contains wrong info?
There is no answer from MSC?
The answer from MSC contains wrong info?
All those questions could be answered by Air traces or A interface traces. |

I have a problem with SDCCH Failed Location Update (Seimens system)that seriously impact to the SDSR rate.
Can anybody help me what possibly can cause this problem and how to reduce this problem.
