Cell Sleeping Occurring

Bijoy - 17th May 2012  (08:06 GMT)

Dear Vijay
Could you pls let me know the BSC/RNC & RBS versions.

Marty Mcfly - 16th May 2012  (14:31 GMT)

This is one of the legendary ericsson problems. Unfortunately the only way we could solve it was a hard reset of the TRX, if that didn't work changing the RF cables. But that was like 6 years ago, am sure things have improved with their equipment.

How do we recover from this sleeping cell problem?

Tuan - 1st February 2005  (08:21 GMT)

Hi Vijay,

Sleeping cell is a most-common problem in Ericsson radio system. We had them before, the only way to detect is that you should activate and use the "Channel seizure supervision" feature.

Prakash - 24th December 2004  (06:50 GMT)
