When you start the Traffic Calculators, a window will appear with four tab controls at the top. Select the tab Extended Erlang B. The Extended Erlang B Calculator is divided into four sections. The top three sections each represent one of the three variables associated with the Erlang B Traffic Model: traffic (B.H.T.), blocking and lines. Each section has a radio button labelled Unknown and an edit box into which values can be entered.

The fourth entry area relates to the recall factor.

 

There are five buttons on the right hand side of the window. Click here for information on their use.

 

When entering figures into the edit boxes, a full stop or period should be used as a decimal mark, NOT a comma as is the convention in some European countries.
